I know that I'm way behind the times. But I just discovered slash.
Let me rephrase that: I just discovered BSC slash.
So. I'm now out of the slash-fan closet. And I must have more. If anyone is actually reading this (hello? hello? crickets? someone? it's getting to be like the part of a horror movie where the girl thinks something bad is going to happen because it's so quiet, and then someone jumps out at her from behind a tree or something...but she doesn't die for a couple more scenes.)
Recommend me some slash if you can...
OMG. SOOOO much excellent BSC Slash out there. On fanfiction.net I recommend Blue by MizzMarvel. It's the granddaddy of all Byron/Jeff stories. If you're on LiveJournal, definitely join the Babysitters100 group. It's a 100-prompts fanfic group. There is some great fic there. Give me a bit of time and I'll go find some good recs from that group. Even if you don't join, I think all the fics are public.
ReplyDeleteDorking out here.

Unfortunately there is no slash tag, but I think there are some pairing tags. But now that I checked, some of those are locked, so you'll have to join the community to read them. But no fear, most people cross-post their stories to Ao3.

Generally, the quality of fics at LJ and Ao3 is way higher than at Fanfiction.net. I've written a few, which you can see on Ao3. My name there is imamaryanne. I have more at the LJ community, which I really should put on ao3.
Thanks posters! I appreciate it. I loved Blue and I've read some of your work, whatireadbackthen. I may well have to join the LJ community...if I can remember what the password was to my old LJ.
